Privacy Policy

This starter privacy policy explains how Marginly is intended to handle information while the product is being explored.

About your account

Marginly stores your account details (name, email, and a securely hashed password) so you can sign in across devices. If you connect a Shopify store, we store the store domain and access token needed to read your sales and product data.

Store data

When a store is connected, Marginly reads orders and products from your store to calculate revenue, profit, and margin. This data is used to power your workspace. Until a store is connected, the workspace shows fictional sample data.

How information is used

Information is used to authenticate you, personalise your workspace, and present your analytics. A production version will need a complete data map, retention policy, security controls, and a confirmed service-provider list.

Your choices

You can disconnect your store at any time in Settings, which removes the stored access token. Contact us to request deletion of your account and associated data.
